Toyota Yaris Cross: Lifestyle photography project
Toyota Yaris is a familiar name with Viet Nam people. Small SUV that fit to city roads an easy to drive, combine with Toyota engine, it’s a no-brain choice. Lately Toyota upgrades the original to Cross version, redesign the whole car and offer a lot more. This, make the Toyota Yaris Cross appealing a lot more.
Calme studio has a chance to borrow the car for our lifestyle photgraphy project. We plan a photoshoot with the car and model, showing the youthful lifestyle the Yaris Cross heading to.
Before the main lifestyle photoshoot, we were be able to pulled off another photoshoot with the car only in early day. Quick photoshoot and grab some photos before the daylight gone. We got some golden sunset light shines through, making beautiful reflection on the car.
Unfortunately, when photoshoot day came, we didnt have weather on our side. Since we couldnt moved production to another day due to many reason, our lifestyle photoshoot happened right after a big storm, and weather was really bad at that time. It was rain and fallen trees all around.
We decided to go with the flow. People buy car for rainy day, isn’t it?
We want to convey a youthful lifestyle, where young people enjoy their life and use the car everyday. The Yaris cross is a very capable car, not just for work, but for short trip also.
Spacious interior and easy to drive, it’s our message to buyers. And it shows through the photos.
The location we choose is a new residential area, which has great landscape with green area in between residential building. We only have to drive few minutes to change the landscape, which speed up our photoshoot quite a bit.
Our model, Nam Phuong, was doing her part so good and so professional in this photshoot. She made our job so much of a breeze.
Lifestyle photgraphy has many challenges photogapher need to account. Even then, nothing is perfect, and sometimes you have to adapt. Although weather is not as good as we prefered, we we’re be able to pull it off, and show the Yaris in the new way we couldn’t think of before.
