The man who monetizes the Sun

The CEO magazine is a leading magazine on business, especially on how the top people think and work. They’ve interviewed many C-suite people, in various industries, to find out how the excels trump in their game.

The magazine had an interview with Mr. Samresh Kumar, CEO of SkyX Solar, a renewable energy company in Viet Nam. They’re in need of CEO images, and Calme as a corporate photography studio, we’ve been assigned for photoshoot.

For this assignment, we did scout company’s office to get some idea and maybe, inspiration for photoshoot. Office admin lady was so nice and they help me tidy up the space a bit. We apprieciate it a lot, sine doing CEO portrait, we need a tidiest space as possible.

CEO’s office has big window, but unfortunately, it doesnt face the sun, or anywhere in reach of sunlight. So our photographer decided to create our own sun with strobe light. Gelled his big Elinchrom light with a CTO on standard reflector, and put it outside high up. When that Elinchrom pops, there came his sun. The golden sunlight he lusted for.

And yet all of the setup would go wasted if we didnt have the great support from the star of the shoot, Mr. Samresh. As busy as any CEO, He was so kind and so easy to work with, support us all the time. Mr. Samresh made our corporate photoshoot a breeze. Mr. Samresh, we thank you with all my heart.
