The Barrel: Leading images for lauching campaign

For anyone looking to age their homemade wine, a barrel is essential. While wine barrels are quite common in Western countries, they are less so here in Vietnam. An import company in Ho Chi Minh city has decided to venture into this market. They found a supplier in Europe, and now they need to launch this product in Viet Nam right before the traditional Tet holiday.

They approached us, a commercial photo studio in Ho Chi Minh city, with their product. The product itself is simple: a barrel. There’s nothing particularly distinguished or special about it. So, we had to make it look better than it does in real life, and we needed a set that matched the launch timing.

Product package

Tet, the Vietnamese New Year, became our main theme. People love to decorate their houses with red paper and other festive items. Adding gold and flowers to the mix, we proposed the idea of a Tet-themed launch to our client. We created a set that mimicked the Tet vibe, with red as the main theme, and included appropriate decorations.

Lighting for the set is a sunny vibe, which mimic sunny day in Tet time, elegant and comfortable.

We were awarded this project. Production took some time to set up the first set. We hung up a red background, arranged flowers, and placed decorations around. There were lots of tiny adjustments to get everything aligned perfectly.

Working with bold color like red usually cause some headache, but we manage to make it. Big thanks to all my team and my wonderful client!
